It’s three in the morning.
It’s that time of day when you’re torn between sleeping and, thinking about things you place at the deepest corner of your brain where it remains forgotten, temporarily. It’s that time of day when you’re in an inevitable, emotional trance you never should be awake for, because it makes you do things you regret in the morning.
It’s a time to feel.
Feeling is something I’m ridiculously good at. I feel when I want to, and I feel when it’s not needed.
At this very hour, I feel, for…
You know how at times you can be uncertain about so many things that it pains and discomforts you? It pains you in a way that you long, wish and hope for things, people you know you can never really have? And it makes you wonder and question how people can just come into your life without any purpose at all? And how things can suddenly just fall into place, so perfectly, then suddenly it can be taken away from you just like that, without warning?
Sometimes, it hurts to feel. But the more you want to stop feeling, the more you do. And the more you think of not feeling, the more you do. And the more you do, the more you realize that feeling isn’t so bad at all. Because feeling makes you alive. Even during the uncertainty.
And, I wish you could feel too.
