Unexpected Treasure Hunting

I spent the whole day bumming at home today. My routine was to eat, check my phone, sleep, go online, eat, sleep some more. Although today might seem unproductive, it was not really such a waste. I got to relax and got to enjoy being a bum because i know i will be very busy in the weeks and months to come.

Out of boredom, i decided to look through my mom’s old stuff. I tend to be OC with stuff when i’m bored and this leads to the fixing/organizing/treasure hunting fixation of mine.  This little activity turned out to be a good decision because i found really neat stuff in her old pile.

The best score i got today are two Ray Ban shades that have been out of action for quite some time now. It’s still in good shape too considering the fact that possibly it’s older than me. It made me appreciate my mom more because she really takes care of her things, the total opposite of me. 

I’m not really a fan of sunglasses or whatever glasses because they tend to fall of my nose and very few frames suit my face. This is an exception especially now when Ray Ban Sunglasses are making a comeback. Come to think of it, i think i dug out this treasure at the right time because summer is coming up and i have other plans that i could make use of these. Talk about perfect timing!

I have yet to clean these so you may observe that the glasses still have hints of dust and signs of age. But i think after i’m finish, it would be as good as new. It pays to have a fashionable mom who does not throw away her old stuff. :)
